Ian Weschler, Legal Counselor of Private Advisor Group Team

Ian Weschler serves as Legal Counsel for Private Advisor Group. He brings over 10 years of experience as an attorney in financial services to his role providing strategic legal and regulatory advice to the team.

Prior to joining Private Advisor Group, Ian worked as Regulatory Counsel for Acorns and as an Associate Counsel for LPL Financial. Following his graduation from the University of South Carolina School of Law, Ian began his career as an Assistant Attorney General with the South Carolina Attorney General’s Office.

Ian lives in South Carolina with his family. He serves on the Board of United Cerebral Palsy of South Carolina and as chairman of the Richland County American Revolution Sestercentennial Committee. An admitted history nerd, Ian is happiest with a good book, with his family at the beach or in the mountains.
