Serena Bowen is the digital marketing manager at Private Advisor Group. In this role, she will be supporting the digital marketing planning and implementation for the Private Advisor Group and its community of over 750 financial advisors, by driving the creation, launch, and continuous optimization of integrated marketing campaigns across a variety of online and offline channels. She brings over 15 years of experience to the team and a wealth of knowledge in the digital marketing space for the financial services industry.

Before joining Private Advisor Group, Serena was the marketing director for a respected community bank in the DC Metro area and, most recently, as a marketing director at Avantax Wealth Management, where she was responsible for leading brand research and integrated, strategic marketing campaigns for elite advisor firms in the network.

Serena holds a Bachelor of Science in business management with an emphasis in marketing. She is an advocate for advancing digital marketing in the financial services industry.

Serena volunteers at her son’s school, and teaches Sunday school at her church. In addition, she has served on the board for Operation Homefront, advocating for wounded warriors and their families, and on the advisory board for NICU parents at INOVA Loudoun Hospital.

Serena lives in Loudoun County, Virginia, with her husband, an Army veteran turned emergency room nurse, and her three boys. Outside work Serena enjoys reading, cheering from the sidelines while her boys play soccer, and date nights with her husband.
