Pat Sullivan is a Co-Founder of Private Advisor Group and currently serves as Executive Chair. In this role, he has leveraged his over 30 years of experience to cultivate a thriving nationwide community of financial advisors.
Under his leadership, the company has grown from a start-up to one of the nation’s largest independent RIA firms. His vision has been instrumental in Private Advisor Group being an early adopter in the RIA space and establishing the framework for the company’s first CEO hire. With a variety of advisor growth programs introduced under Pat’s guidance, he’s ensured teams stay focused on an “advisor-first” mindset, establishing a strong foundation and culture poised for generational success.
Pat holds a Bachelor of Arts from State University of New York at Albany and a Master of Business Administration from Fordham University. He maintains FINRA series 4, 7, 24, 31, 53, and 63 securities registrations and designations as a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) and a Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®).
With extensive community involvement, he’s inspired the firm’s tradition of giving back to the communities we serve. Pat is a member of the Board of Directors of Covenant House NJ . In addition, he spent 16 years on the Board of Good Grief and received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Invest in Others Foundation for his work.
Pat resides in Morristown, NJ with his wife, Pam. They have three children who all live and work in NYC, and outside of work he enjoys running, traveling, and the performing arts.
